Veteran's Choice Insurance Allows

Veterans To Use Private Practice Psychiatrist

by Harris Jensen, MD

Editor, Good Day Journal

I am reaching out to veterans who need to work with a psychiatrist, but are having a hard time getting in with one.  Or are on an extended wait list at a veterans clinic or hospital.

I am seeing veterans with the help of Veteran's Choice program.

To enroll, call the VA representative and ask to sign up.  The VA representative know how to guide you. Call the Choice Program at 1 866 606 8198.

Once enrolled, then call my office at 970 416 8354.

I have helped many veterans with anxiety, depression and PTSD, providing counseling and medication managment to help get control of their life again.

Veterans are eligible if:

The wait period is longer than 30 days before being  seen by a psychiatrist at a VA facility.

Or, the veteran lives more than 40 miles driving distance from a VA Medical Facility wth a full time primary care physician.

Give us a call if we can help!
