The Time Is Now To Stop Stigmatizing People With Mood and Substance Use And Neurologic Disorders,

Says United Nations General Assembly Document!

Only Ignorant People And Nations Ignore People With These Disorders!

The only smart thing to do with a mood disorder is to take care of it.  That means counseling and medication.  The same can be said for addictions and seizures.  Yet all over the world, people are looked down upon for having these problems and for taking care of them!

All over the world!  It seems there is no shortage of people out there who are afraid of what they don't understand and willing to blame someone who has a problem they don't understand.

All over the world people are treated as "weird" for having seizures, depression, bipolar illness, addictions...yet these are among the top causes of death and disability in the world!  And they are very treatable.

All this is reviewed in this United Nations Special Session document, a call for rational people to take a stand and fight these illnesses...and the irrational stigma that people face who have these illnesses.

Yes, it seems there is no shortage of ignorance out there, but the UN is seeing the problem and fighting back.  Great work!
